Armina Kayat, born in the vibrant city of Tehran, Iran, is a dedicated and passionate veterinarian with a special interest in surgery. Her journey into the world of veterinary medicine began with a profound love for animals, a sentiment she carried from her early years.

Armina pursued her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Olum-Tahghighat Azad University in Tehran, where her academic journey was marked by a keen focus on surgical procedures. Her commitment to advancing veterinary surgical practices culminated in a noteworthy thesis of dissertation within the field of surgery.


With a solid academic foundation, she immersed herself in practical experiences, working in several top-notch hospitals and clinics in Tehran. Her expertise and dedication earned her recognition, and she became a valued member of the Veterinary Society of Iran.

Beyond her professional endeavors, she made the courageous decision to immigrate to Canada. This reflects not only her determination to advance her career but also her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of animals in her new home. Initially settling in Toronto, she took on the role of a veterinary assistant, contributing her skills to the local community. In pursuit of her goal to practice as a licensed veterinarian in Canada, she made the bold decision to relocate to Vancouver.

Currently, she is diligently preparing for the North America Licensure exams, a crucial step towards obtaining practical licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Canada.
