Julia is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology through Penn Foster University’s distance education program. She is originally from Calgary, Alberta, where she had her first experience working in-clinic as a veterinary assistant many years ago.
After pursuing other other fields and forms of education in visual arts, her passion for veterinary medicine came full circle in Vancouver, where she gained invaluable experience working in Emergency care, as well as general practice settings on the lower mainland.
Julia has developed an undying love for all creatures, great and small, since she was a child. She has a passion for serving our furry friends, as well as their beloved human family members.
When she is not assisting families and their pets at North Care, you can find Julia working to help homeless and neglected animals at a local north shore shelter.
