Janelle
Born and raised in North Vancouver, Janelle has always loved the BC forests, nature, and animals. Over the years she has owned and cared for just about any animal you can imagine, and spent much of her younger years riding horses on rural mountain trails. She now shares her home with her working-line German Shepherd, Duckie, and two cats, Mavis and Luna.
Janelle is pursuing undergraduate studies in behavioural neuroscience, with hopes of working in the medical field. Her academic background complements her hands-on experience, offering unique insights into the connection between animal behaviour, health, and care.
A passionate learner, Janelle’s curiosity and drive align with her role at North Care Animal Hospital, where she thrives in a team environment. Her compassion and keen observational skills ensure attentive, personalized care for each patient.
Outside of work, Janelle loves venturing off the beaten path with Duckie and continues honing her dog’s extensive skills in obedience and scent tracking, a reflection of her love for animal behaviour and training.
