Desiree

Desiree is a Persian-Canadian who immigrated to Canada in late 2002. She holds a PhD in Geomorphology and Hydrology from Halifax University and a Veterinary Technician Assistant Diploma from Granville College (2021). A lifelong animal lover, she has blended her strong academic background with her deep passion for animal care, working hands-on to support the health and well-being of pets in clinical settings. She is a proud mom of two smart and loving daughters and shares her home with four cherished dogs—two Shih Tzus and two German Spitz—as well as two adorable buggies. Her connection to animals has been at the heart of her journey from childhood to her current professional life.
